Academics from Universities around the UK have worked closely with The National House Project (NHP), Local House Projects (LHP) and young people to examine the implementation and effectiveness of the psychological framework that underpins the practice of NHP.

The Promise in Action: Scotland Event Highlights
On 15 May 2025, the National House Project (NHP) hosted “The Promise in Action: Voice” at the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline. The event brought together care-experienced young people, Local House Project staff, and partners from across Scotland to share learning, celebrate progress, and explore the importance of youth voice in shaping services.
